Jeff - Tough break for KU yesterday.
Ouch....Don't I know it. Although the game was closer than I thought it would be.

Assuming they were going to win on Friday, I didn't think they had a chance on Sunday.

Friday took everything they had...On top of the injuries, missed shots, and missed calls on Sunday.

They did better than expected and will be returning everyone excpt Graves and Nash next year.

They should do well next year then.

On the brighter side of sports, at least Mike Hall got his Dream Job!

THOUGHTS

Ponderings....

I planted some birdseed. A bird came up. Now I don't know what to
feed it.

I had amnesia once -- or twice.

I went to San Francisco. I found someone's heart.

Last week I forgot how to ride a bicycle.

Protons have mass? I didn't even know they were Catholic.

All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

A beggar asked me for 50¢ for a sandwich. I said, "First let me see
the sandwich."

What is a "free" gift? Aren't all gifts free?

They told me I was gullible... and I believed them.

Teach a child to be polite and courteous in the home and, when he
grows up, he'll never be able to edge his car onto a freeway.

Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone.

What if there were no hypothetical questions?

One nice thing about egotists: They don't talk about other people.

When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to
look like a nail.

A flashlight is a case for holding dead batteries.

What was the greatest thing before sliced bread?

My weight is perfect for my height - which varies.

I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not sure.

The cost of living hasn't affected its popularity.

How can there be self-help "groups"?

Is there another word for synonym?

Where do forest rangers go to "get away from it all"?

you a man who can't get his pants off.

It's not an optical illusion. It just looks like one.

Is it my imagination, or do buffalo wings taste like chicken?

TRUE CONFESSION!!!!!!

I hope my love and friendship is this strong
If not,I hope one day it is.

This is a true story that happened in Japan.

In order to renovate the house, someone in Japan tore open the
wall. Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the
wooden walls. When tearing down the walls, he found that there was
a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside was hammered
into one of its feet. He saw this, felt pity, and at the same time
he was curious. When he checked the nail, turns out, it was nailed
10 years ago when the house was first built.

What happened?

The lizard had survived in such a position for 10 years! In a dark
wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and
mind boggling. Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10
years without moving a single step--since its foot was nailed!

So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it had been
doing, and what and how it has been eating. Later, not knowing
from where it came, appeared another lizard, with food in its
mouth.

Ahh! He was stunned and at the same time, touched deeply. Another
lizard had been feeding the stuck one for the past 10 years...

Such love, such a beautiful love! Such love happened with this
tiny creature...

What can love do?

It can do wonders!

Love can do miracles!

Just think about it; one lizard had been feeding the other one
untiringly for 10 long years, without giving up hope on its
partner.

If a small creature like a lizard can love like this... just
imagine how we can love if we try.
