Any time, There actually is an article on the front page there about the benefits of going past 14 months.

I know Oprah had one lady on who was breastfeeding (all be it not exclusively) for her kids to just about any age. She had a 4-year-old feeding on stage with her and I think her oldest was 7. She figured it was a nice calming relaxing place. If kids got hurt or scared what safer place to be. Her kids have never had cavaties and they havent been sick in years.

I know the USA went through the formula is best back in the 50's only to find out we were wrong. Unfortunately a lot of good knowledge was lost, but fortunately it is coming back. I am glad to here you have a group to help you out.

Wow - it's rare to find people who really understand about it!!!!

I know a lot of people who think its just weird to breastfeed this long. But, on the other hand, I also know people who are breastfeeding their 5 yr olds - which I'll admit I find odd.
It's true what they say about the kids not getting sick as much and the other benefits. I just wish it was accepted better by the general public.
