bm, last night was my first confessional ever, EVER, I have 29 years worth of confessions built up here, but I'll be damned if I did not hit on some of the highlights last night. (or this morning, whatever!)
I feel cleansed (umm, well, kinda cleansed) for now...
*or is that just my hangover finally lifting?*

hmm...it could be the hangover, but it's probably the confessing...
I know what you mean about that too...I've laid some deep ones in here that haven't even spread much around RL...and I'm always coming up with new reasons to confess...

I'm back - I can't seem to get my quote button to work for me, possibly not holding my mouth right when I hit it, but I've never had a problem before, so who knows?

Sooo... Naded, thanks so much for the offer to listen - I might just take you up on that soon ~ worst part of it all is that I work for the same place he does (same town, different building) - I think getting over this may take a while!! (I need some distractions!)

That's rough. My OM and I worked at the same school. As a matter of fact he was my department chair. When we stopped seeing each other it was hard. I couldn't avoid him, I just had to make the best of it. Things got better once I quit my job (which is probably not what you needed to hear).

And of course we kept in touch and now are back at square one

He offered to quit his job - I wouldn't hear of it, he's got kids and a wife that doesn't work (and he makes quite a bit of money where he's at) - I've thought about it, but I've never earned more, (or learned more ) than where I'm at now, so for now, we are stuck, I guess. I'll be fine, he says I won't lose his friendship, but considering the way I feel about him, I don't see how it's possible to keep it (make any sense?)

Yes, that does make sence.

I agree, you both should stay where you are. The only reason I quit was to be a stay at home mom, BTW. Otherwise I would still be at the job I loved.

We maintained our friendship because we both decided that we wanted it and were willing to work at it. Of course, look where it has gotten me, so I don't know if it's a good thing or not. It did make life a lot less stressful at the time, though.
