I hit really, really fucking hard and it appears I have done a fair bit of damage to yours trully. Now remember, I am ok folks. I lived. But I did sustain some injuries that are gonna put me down for a while.
I have friends over taking good care of me so no worries. This is the life I live, can't have all the fun without a little bit of pain after all.
Much love,
J.
naded said:ok, here's the list:
1. 3 broken toes
2. Dislocated right knee
3. Fractured petalla
4. Hairline fracture left femor
5. 50 miles of bruises
6. 4 broken ribs, 2 badly cracked
7. sprained neck
8. pressure on the number 3 vertebrae
9. a bunch of cuts and nicks
10. a good size cut on my right side
11. and a sprained ankle.
I am sure I will feel more tomorrow, but got away with only 24 stitches and 14 staples.![]()
Well being a nurse and in medical school now I must say I am extremely disappointed in the Physican that released you from the hospital, typically a fractured patella is automatic sugery and and rib that is completely fractured as long as not the floating ribs too because it could cause lung puncturing. So I say ..sue the freaking hospital because that is insane. Glad you are ok but hon you should really make sure someone else looks at it if that doctor released you. Not even to mention the pressure on the spine from your cervical injury. It makes me sad that some doctors don't deserve to practice and treat hospital's like a deli counter. Get some rest Naded and you are in our thoughts. My brother is the chief resident of Trauma here in Canada if you need him to make any calls I will call him..I am very worried.naded said:ok, here's the list:

I agree with you Amber....he should be in the hospital....and I'm worried too.
*frowns softly* Ok, do what you need to. I won't go there, to close to home with my father as of late. Hope you are feeling better.naded said:
Hon, relax, I am ok. I got a full time nurse and the doc has been "discussing" me with the folks, and I think he might win there. As far as the petalla goes, I had it originally replaced in 1993 after a injury in the army. So it was plastic anyways. The ribs are taped and while there is so good swelling going on it should be fine. Only one I don't like is the neck, I hate this neck thingy. And I had a little chat with my doctor about the hospital, I even made a promise to go in if any of things on his considerable list happens. I just can't stand hospitals, I seen to many friends go in them and not come home again. I will seriously be careful, and since they want me awake for a long while to make sure I don't have any problems from this whack in the head. The doc did his best, I just ooverrode him on this one.
yes, I know, it is stupid, but really really don't want to go there. But will if they say it has gotten worse. I am well taken care of right, now. I got friends, family and more than enough nurses trying to jab my ass with needles.
naded said:Guys, please don't be upset with me, I just really have this big fear of doctors. But I think I am gonna go ahead and have to go anyways, they seemed to have convinced the folks of such anyways.
