It's hard to lose something that wasn't a fight to begin with. We got sent over there with our hands tied and made the best of a really shitty situation. I spent way too many damn days getting shot at only to be told that I wasn't allowed to fire back unless in "grave imminent danger". WTF do they call someone shooting at you?!?!? Granted, these guys were worse shots than your average Stormtrooper, but still, I was trained to shoot back and then they say, "No, wait, don't do that". God damn "Peacekeeping missions". I know, I would never say that to her, it's kinda strange actually. My sister and I are best friends and yet hate each other. She and I were in the Army together and we used to run 5 miles every morning together.

She always said that she would never let a guy effect the way she looked. Then her now ex-husband spent a few years telling her she was ugly, fat, dumb etc etc and she totally let go. Emotionally and physically.

I just miss my old sister, the happy one, the one that was my running partner, my pal, and my closet ally. Not the worn down, feels like the world has crashed on her, emotional wreck of a sister she is now.

So, I said it because I am frustrated, sad and not quite sure how to deal with the issue.
