Hi everyone. Its been forever. Things good here, I'm good, Nigel's good...Please forgive me for stopping in this way.

I need to rant.

The Firestone car shop that just replaced my fuel pump on Tuesday have a bunch of worthless piece of shit mechanics. This morning on my way to work I stopped to fill up my close to empty gas tank. I was going about the business of cleaning my windshield while the tank was filling and looked down to find gas gushing all over from underneath my car. Then it took me a second to realize I was actually standing in a large flood of gasoline and another second to go over in my head how not to create a spark while standing in the gasoline. So, to make a long story short, after they shut down the 7-Eleven, evacuated, and the fire trucks showed up, I was informed by Mr. Fire Captain that apparently the numb nuts at Firestone did not attach my fill hose properly to my gas tank. 7-Eleven wanted my contact and insurance information in case we "need to have conversations" about their loss of business for 2 hours, the clean up of the gasoline and the fire department being called to the scene. And tomorrow I will be having a fucking conversation with the fucking manager at Firestone who was apparently not in today.

And the best part is I paid for 17 gallons of gas when my gas tank only holds 12. And even better, it was for gas that never actually made it into my gas tank.

Talked about something being weird!
My car is now screwed up because of firestone. They had to raise my erngine to get to my water pump. They raised it too high, snapping my radiator spout. I also found out they way overcharged me like they do everyone! FIRESTONE SUCKS!! We should alert the world of their worldwide ineptness!

Well, well there has been some activity here! :nana: Must mean summer is drawing to a close......the kids in these parts head back to school in 3 weeks. :D

Sorry to read of NG's and Oman experience with Firestone; I've never used their service as I take my car to the dealer (family member is a certified mechcanic) but I have seen where they are doing another massive recall on tires. I think it would benifit all of us to stay away from anything Firestone :(

As for me, still in a holding pattern; no school, not working much (I do still have the local art guild for a client) and away from home. I will say one thing about being stuck in the third cow patty on the left is that it gives you alot of time to think.

Oh, I just got my first blackberry and I am in love!!!!!!!! Man are those things cool. :D
