• It's good to see so many familiar names posting here again. Glad I had the time today to be here too.
  
• Even though I know things will be fine, I'm still getting a bit scared about my oral surgery tomorrow. Thank goodness, Oman will be there when I wake up, and I won't be totally toothless yet!
  
• Wish I had a million dollars!

Oman, you are the BIGGEST star in my life! Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Happy to hear the surgery is behind you, the waiting is always scarier than the actually doing.

You should never feel unworthy!!!!! It is telling Oman he has bad taste in lovers and we all KNOW that isn't true.

You give Oman a special gift everyday just because you are you and you have choosen to spend your life with him. If his day is Valentine's Day (just a guess as he is such a romantic), make him an old fashion card (remember those paper lace dollies make neat hearts), cook him his favorite meal, maybe throw in a backrub or what ever else he enjoys Giving of yourself is much more special than any thing you can buy at a store.

Custody Hearing FRIEND OF THE COURT UPDATE Custody Hearing in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh,PA -- A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Pittsburgh courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Pittsburgh Steelers, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Thank you for your inspiring words. It really puts a different perspective on how I sometimes view things, and Oman certainly wouldn't pick a "loser"!

His special day is his birthday tomorrow (Jan. 25th!!). Just being together this coming weekend (he's off on Friday), I'm sure I'll manage to find a way (or two) to make him feel special!

Can't you just let that chocolate melt in your mouth? Hate to see you forgoing one of the basic food groups And I have found swishing salt water (yep, tastes wicked) around in the month helps to get those tender gums back in shape.

Good advice, InLust (the surgeon recommended the "swishing" as well!). Trying to keep in my mind that I'll be smiling like soon!!

Confession:

Felt a bit nauseous this morning after the meds! Cannot wait to be through with them.

I gazed at Oman last night and today, and realize I'm the luckiest lady I know!

Oman is still not as old as he looks!
