Happy Sunday

My confessions for the day:

I worked my butt off today....my house is spotless!!!

I cleaned

I cooked

I threw away a bunch of junk that I seem to move from one place to another

and I did all of the laundry

I screened my phone calls *but felt guilty for doing it*


When I got done with that I performed my special "spa day" ritual. Put on a mint julep mud mask.....once dried, I hopeed in the shower and took a nice long hot invigorating shower, deep conditioned my hair, exfoliated with my favorite jasmine vanilla sugar scrub, and gave myself a pedicure when I got out of the shower.

Instead of straightening my unruly curls.....I let them curl!!! It feels different to have curls again

I puttered around the house doing little odds & ends and realized that I was exhausted so I took a quick catnap and feel so much better for it!

~Not much of a confession, but it's what I did today~

I'm packing...we still haven't found a new place yet. I'm getting nervous; we have about 3 weeks til we really have to be out. I hate not knowing what the future holds. (Its a control issue for me ) I know things will work out, its the waiting for the working out part that makes me crazy.

But great news last night! Nigel is moving to days at work beginning Thursday! Its been a year since he started nights, so its wonderful that we will have our nights together once again. He still works weekends, but at least I have him those nights...YAY! One of his customers also offered him a job last night (strange huh? Both things happening in the same night!) He's going to check it out this week and see if it is something he really wants. So things are moving right along....

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I don't know if i"d call it a control issue....more of a comfort issue. And I agree with you, packing up a household with not a clue as to where or if you are gonna be unpacking anytime soon would be most unsettling. But I'll be sending positive thoughts that you find the perfect little house and it has a spare room just right for turning into a studio

So very cool that you guys will be on the same timetable!!!! It is such a strain on the relationship when "Hi" and "Bye" are the only words spoken during the day. And coming home after a day of frustation to an empty place can get old really fast. Keep us posted

I really, really have to confess this.......

I just watched Jon Bon Jovi on Oprah. Hot damn, that man is 100% pure sex walking around in a tight pair of jeans. Holy shit. I have loved that man forever and a day. Way back when, I wanted his hair. Long, curly/frizzy with the blonde tips......*drool* He still looks damn good all these years later. I about creamed my jeans just watching him on t.v., God knows what would happen if I ever saw him in person.

My "true confession" of today is:

I have deeply hurt someone I love most in this world. I am seeking a balance in my life but made bad decisions. I now must regain the trust I lost from these bad decisions. It is an up hill climb but one worth taking. I may have to give up lit to do so, and while I enjoy lit so very much and all those in the playground....Real life comes first. We shall try to keep the balance.

I hope to be here still and find that balance.

Echoing this x 1,000..... *sigh* I actually haven't watched it yet... I'm saving if for a time when I can be all alone and drown myself in his sexiness. A friend and I went to see him in concert a couple of years ago when I was pregnant with my son. A definite high moment in my life. I always have said that if I didn't have kids, I would so be a roadie following him around. (Can we say stalker??? LOL!)

Now that that is out the way.... ((((((((( Fem ))))))))) It is SO good to see you! I miss you and hope we can catch up soon. Lots of changes here, not all for the better but I am working on it.
