A quiet spot, I see.

So, how have you been since we last had a chance to chat?

The TC bar is well configured for such pleasant interludes (being virtual, it's amazing the properties it has for such a small footprint ... ;)

We last chatted many moons ago ... and of course I have been many things since then, however recently the medical problems that were haunting are much improved and my work situation is on the verge of improving as well (though it probably means I will be moving away from Denver and that will be sad ... I've come to love this area).

I'm very happy to hear things are better for you, sweetie, but not so happy about the move if it's not something you really wish for. I've been in that area and LOVE it myself. Being a nature girl, I loved the mountains and the views...loved CO Springs even more. :)

It is a most beautiful area of the country, and while the Valley of the Sun has it's good points as well ... not nearly so many as this area does (and of course the summers are going to be impossible for me ... I who find Scotland a refreshing and invigorating climate ... my genes were just never made for that area).

Ok, you lost me with Valley of the Sun, I think. Brain's getting a little fuzzy from exhaustion, sorry.

Where you born in Scotland or just speaking of visiting there?

Valley of the Sun in the Phoenix, AZ area. I have visited Scotland and my genetic heritage is almost entirely Scottish ... I found Scotland in late February to be a delightful time ... blustery, chill, misty and rainy ... and just felt right ...

Ahh, thank you for clueing me in on that.

I'd give the world to tour Scotland and see the lushness of it, to see the highlands of old that are often spoken of in so many of the romance novels I see on the shelves at my favorite bookstore.

You'd be happy here in Virginia then, if you like that sort of weather in February. We went from mid-60's on Tuesday to 2 or more inches of snow here today...just strange sometimes.

I've been to Scotland twice now ... and truthfully I'd relocate if I thought I could manage it. THe last time, as I mentioned, was definately not the tourist season and lush was not the word I think anyone would have chosen, the other time was not full summer but was much more in the right time ... but both times is was just ... right. I enjoyed it very much ... even if I did lose two hubcaps along the way (the roads are incredibly narrow ... well, actually I think the roads are quite normal and it's the roads here in the states that are incredibly wide. I don't think your average american SUV would even fit in the lanes there ... I never saw any car that could even be called an SUV, not one)

Sounds wonderful, sweetie, I hope I'll get a chance someday to enjoy it as well. Hope you have a wonderful night, I'm off to bed.

Good night ... and I'm afraid I must bid adieu as well ... I have something else I need to do err I sleep ... and it needs my full attention (somehow ... my attention has been quite diverted this evening ... delightfully so!)

Morning all and T.G.I.F :nana: :nana: :nana:

Man it sure got hot in here last evening after I left, 3 pages to read over coffee....just like the old days :) Was nice to see.

Sending a big hug your way......nothing I could say would lessen the pain. Having someone you care about not care about you to the extent you care about them leaves a rather large void in the heart.

Such truth in these words. Wishing the best for you Henry. :rose:

Oh I am bald..... just not on my head.

With that simple statement, you have sucessfully driven the vast majority of male TC'ers over the edge. :D
