I wish she'd still write, but for whatever reason it isn't going to happen. I have no choice but to accept that I guess, whether I like it or not. I'm not upset that she has made that choice. Just feeling more alone without her to talk to.

Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down. We have all been in the spot you are now.....and even though we logically understand "a reason...a season...a lifetime", doesn't make it hurt any less when it happens. Just know there are people out there that think you are special

this is an absolutely true story

a few weeks ago i decided to be naughty and wear a short skirt and no panties to a meeting

i was a bit giddy and excited, made a stop for a soda on the way, and was daydreaming about naughty things....

well... daydreaming about sex doesn't mix with driving, in my hurried excitement pulling out of the parking lot, i backed right into a truck full of workmen taking a lunch break

i jumped out of the car and began apologizing and checking to see if i'd done damage, forgetting i wasn't wearing panties and how short the skirt is...
so when i bent over to check out the bumpers
they checked out mine

no damage was done (except for my own humiliation)

friendliest wreck i've ever had

so then i get to the meeting, forgetting again that i wasn't wearing panties...and that's where i wanted to remember i wasn't wearing panties so i could misbehave a little...

turns out, all my wearing no panties naughtiness got me was late for my meeting, a minor collision, and having my unmentionables viewed by a bunch of workmen
...and not at all by whom i wanted to flash

many of my days go this way
sometimes i feel like i've been possessed by lucille ball

Okay...we've talked about it before, but nothing much has ever become of it.

So how about a TC Litogether? I'm not talking about an orgiastic screw-fest (Sorry NG)....I'm talking about gathering in one location to finally meet face to face and have a good time....Whatever happens from there is up to individuals.

Several things need to be addressed, specifically when and where. I would suggest late spring/early summer in a central location in the country....One that is fairly cheap and easy to get into and out of.

Seriously, Jeff and I spoke about the idea of how close many of us are and how we keep talking about a get together for TC folks but the planning doesn't actually get anywhere. So here we go! We've talked about doing it in Kansas City, Missouri, about a year from now to give people time to plan ahead.

I SAY WE GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!! Life is too short and many of us have gained a lot from our friendships that we have made here. I say we get together and celebrate those friendships. Realistically, we know that many of us have attachments that would hinder us from attending, but give it some thought. I suggested we try to ignore the "Lit piece" as even though it is where we all met, it isnt necessarily what drives our friendships.


So what do you all think, realistically? Is this a nice idea but won't really happen or do you think its possible?

I think it is great idea, and very possible! A year to plan for it certainly helps. Personally, I would love to meet all of you. And depending on my situation by that time (financially, where I am living, etc.) I will definitely make every effort to be there.
