Hi everyone

Just wanted to check in and thank everyone for the congrats. We are doing well. The baby is absolutely beautiful and my son is tickled pink with her. Honestly, I couldn't ask for any more.

I have finally met someone that makes me feel more complete, more alive, more worthy than I have ever felt in my life. She'd been right under my nose and I hadn't realized it until I finally just jumped at a chance. 2000th Post

So I waxed nostalgic and sentimental at #1000....I figure twice in 2000 wouldn't blow my tough, surly image, so here goes.

Once again my hat is off to Jewelz for coming up with the idea for this thread. Although we engage in a great deal of fun and friendship, the basic premise has never changed: This is a safe, nonjudgmental place to speak your mind and I love that.

Friends and acquaintances have come and gone....Some even poke a head in every now and then to say "Howdy." Some have taken what they needed for a time and continued on their journey. This place has remained constant in its intent and for that I am grateful.

So, without further ado.....

Oman- You and Jenny amaze me. If what I've found becomes even half of what you've got, I will be a very blessed man. Oh, and the pics you come up with....Love em.

NG- It is a privlege to call you my friend. I hope nothing but the best for you and Nigel.

Red- Although I'm not as close to you as others, I know that I can always drop you a line for a much needed third point of view. (You can take a break while you welcome your newest little one)

Fiesty- Girl, I love the way you think! I am quite proud of you for the bravery and daring to start a new life.

CF- Thank you for being around to let me gush. You know you can drop me a note anytime you need a friendly keystroke. And I promise not to get too mushy.

Jewelz- Not to gush on you, but you did bring this group of strangers together.

SS- We may not always see eye to eye, but I have nothing but the utmost respect for your opinions. I sincerely hope you find relief for your pain.

I know I haven't hit everyone and this list is by no means all-encompassing. I am finding difficult to continue to say what I feel without it sounding repetitive. Know that parts of what I've said here applies to each and every one of you.
