I came to this site over a year ago. Since that time I have seen folks come and go, but the content of the BB remains essentially the same.A few days ago I ressurected and old thread posted by Patryn about popularity on the BB. Although a year old, all the pissing and moaning form the "old" crowd could have easily been written by today's members because nothing has really changed.

Some have said that the current BB has "dumbed down". I don't see it. Some have said that the current BB is pettier. I don't see that either. What I do see, however are a bunch of new folks that have taken the name "blue" as part of their identity. There is, however, only one "blue" and that's me. I am the genuine article!!! And after a few days of carefree living, I feel better than ever.

You know you'll always be the real "Blue" to all of us who've been posting to your thread for the past few months. Glad to hear you're feeling better today too. But that's what happens when you win a victory over another thread. And we took care of them Darien people yesterday.

About the BB thing, I think that when one starts complaining about "the good old days" that they've been around too long. The BB itself doesn't truly change, just the faces that filled in certain roles as the usual comedians, flamers, political posters, and so on that one gets used to seeing during their early time here. Despite that all, this BB still kicks ass for the most part.

Change. You gotta love it. Keeps things from getting boring.
