You don't know cold.

Erg, I live on parallel 52 - the very parallel that Copenhagen is on. I shake my fist at thee!

You can see my location to the left. And I haven't seen much snow in the last few years :p

We don't have polarbears in Sweden except in the zoo's.

Sweden. I have to love the Nordic settlers of Minnesota and their descendants. People here are tough and insane.

Hey, it's freezing we're starving to death, let's sail away then head west till the winter is as close to home as we can get!

:)

Me I just came here for the cheap rent and stayed for the fall color over and over till I made friends and grew roots.

I have to admit that's the one thing I miss about Minnesota and Missouri is the way they look during fall.

It's that old Viking blood that flows through our veins :D
Or it could be to much mead.

And I love the fall over here as well, all yellow, orange and red.
I should go out and take some pictures this weekend.

If you do, could you share?

The pictures, silly. Unless you've figured out a way to e-share mead. :D

oh? where? here is another, i have more still on the camera that i havent gotten to yet.

I miss being far enough North to actually have a fall and winter. It is still 65 degrees here and it's 11 at night, with tomrrow's high supposed to be 85. I want color in the trees and a nip in the air!

Nice pics KC... beautiful part of the world you are in.

So do I. I also know what it's like to live in a warm climate. I spent a year and a half in TX. I also spent a total of 3 1/2 years in Minnesota. That's what I love about Oregon, we don't have the extremes. I mean it gets cold and it gets hot, but rarely, and only for a few weeks a year. We go years without snow, and Oregon's idea of a drought is pitiful.

But I do!

You live in Winnipeg, right? If so, then I hope you should know what a WET cold is. I've never experienced a wet cold - where -10 C feels like -30 C.

Oh by the way, awesome photo's. I put the one that I enhanced on my desktop, I hope you don't mind.

You can fix that if you have a program like photo studio. Click on the link to see what I'm talking about.
I have actually modified them a bit, but if I change too much they start to look unnatural. I also need a better camera. The one I have is crap.

Grrr... I mean, yes I have. The damp cold creeps into your bones and settles there til summer comes; provided it stops raining enough to have a summer..
