Trouble sending PMs

I hope that you could help - I have tried the FAQs, the search function and nothing.

For the past two days, I have been having problems with my PMs. As of last night, I was still receiving them, however, every time I try to reply to a PM, or send one of my own, I get "Database error - The Literotica Discussion Board database has encountered a problem."

Could somebody please explain what is happening, and offer possible solutions?

I'd guess asking whoever the forum admin is might help.

I just sent a PM without issue, so it's clearly not a board-wide problem.

infinity706 - Thank you . I have contacted the admins and tech support through e-mail... now I suppose now I play the waiting game .

SweetE - I haven't thought about having someone contact Manu for me. Thank you for the advice . I shall get onto it.


I seriously think that there's something wrong with my sent folder. I tried to go into it, and the same thing: "Database error - The Literotica Discussion Board database has encountered a problem."

It's merely frustrating, and no one else I've talked to is encountering this kind of problems. Karma, perhaps?

I've been on multiple forums over the years and this is the first I've ever heard of that problem unless the whole site was just down.

Another option would be having someone PM Manu, alerting him to this thread. That might be easiest, actually.

ETA: I assume you've tried logging out, clearing your cookies, closing your browser, restarting your PC, then logging back in? Some of that's likely unnecessary, but it never hurts to try everything in one shot.

Maybe you could try clearing out your private data (history, cookies etc) and see what happens. I haven't had that problem myself.

Although I don't know much about forum software, I'm racking my brain to figure out the why.... someone suggested a glitch in the sent folder. Perhaps that's it.

I have tried logging out, clearing my cookies, web history, restarting etc. Actually, that's the first thing I did. I remember SweetE mentioning it a couple of times!
