Because my husband Elliot is 55 and fifteen years older than me and because of how none of the other wives look or dress like me, I'm seen as the "Hot Trophy Wife". If that makes me sound conceited, at least I'm conceited and hot.
There's people in out social circle - mostly it's the other wives - that compare how Elliot and I look together to the Jay and Gloria Pritchard characters. Although Elliot actually is more like Phil (socially awkward and clumsy) and while I've been told by quite a few people that I remind them of Sofia Vergara in the way she looks and her fashion, I've also been told I have the "pushy, 'know-it-all'" personality as Claire.
I suppose both are true, but is there anything wrong with that?
As an event planner, it's important I look my best, especially since my clients tend to be high end power corporations.. and a few music industry types who tend to want to have lavish parties where sometimes it's necessary for me to wear something a little sexier that shows I know what the clients expect.
