I can't find that damn thread. Anybody remember who started it?
 
I've jsut had a search for it,Cloudy but I couldn't find it at all. I thought Mat started it, but I think I'm wrong *L*

It's become quite a famous thread, but I also can't find it.

Min remembers it, and she thinks it was Tatelou as well.

I just edited the post above to show the actual thread with pics, not just the archive. I wasn't sure it was right till i read it along a bit but I seem to remember another brit/american thread but I can't find that for love nor money *L*

ah, fondly remembering when I was in London as a kid and I asked my new friend if she liked my knickers.. I was NOT showing off my panties. honest.

I did that in P-town with Lucky, Vella, Cloudy and Min...we were sitting outside at a restaurant having breakfast, and I used the word 'lorry'. The table went strangely quiet, as all eyes turned on me in utter bemusement. :rolleyes:

Min and I often have the type of conversation that unfolded on 'that' thread.....and it can get quite heated.

I've had so many convrsations online and in real life about the differences between English and America, it's always fun o amongst brits there is the age old

S -cone (right way) versus Scon (wrong way) ;) debate. :p
