I guess you don't see the massive irony of you and Jenny still posting in this thread do you.
Didn't think so
Edit:
Actually, I'm saying "you and Jenny", there's actually no reason for you to be involved, I've never seen you step out of line anywhere. I don't actually have a problem with you (unless you want to start trolling and/or thread-hijacking in your own right). It's only Jenny who persists in trolling, which I why I keep pulling her up on it.
All I've seen you do is either run around after me making daft jokes, or run around after Jenny. That's all you do.

I take it back, perhaps it is ironic you're posting in this thread.
Calvin said:While I generally tend to ignore threads such as this, for some odd reason I felt like I should respond (no clue why tho).
First, no matter who we are, at one point or another, we all behave like trolls. Not always a bad thing.
Second, and this is for DrDav - get a life. Becoming the self appointed "Troll Slayer" of Lit really does not say much for you. Not to mention that you have barely been around for 4 months.... barely enough time to begin to really get to know people. The best advice I could give you is that if you don't like a post or thread, move on.... after all we are all entitled to our opinions and thoughts.... and Lit has always tried to believe in "free speech".

DrDav said:You are absolutely right.
(As for the get a life comment, I'll assume you meant that benignly, despite not sounding like it. Besides, policing the personals board doesn't take that much time out of my day).
I have actually said this myself in the past, although certain people don't absorb that peice of logic.
So, my thinking is, is that if there are some people who don't want to get along with others (e.g. Jenny, see her post-history), why let them have an easy time of it?
In my four months, I have gotten to know some people where, and made friends, which is what I came here for. Although unfortunately, I see people who think it's fine to go around treating other people like shite, and since there's no moderators here to do anything about it, someone has to.

I agree with all that you have said. Although I can't get away from that there's a certain double standard that's being missed.
It does seem that other people can do what they like, i.e. troll, insult, or hi-jack threads, as and when they please. (JJ is an example of this, and while I have no reason do doubt what you have said about her private personality, it doesn't change the end result of her public behaviour). Although as soon as someone steps up to counter that, then that person is suddenly the public enemy. That does seem like a double standard.
(For instance, JJ has hi-jacked many threads, and done so happily. However, when it has been done to her, she has cried blue murder. Surely shows that she doesn't think thread hi-jacking is okay, does it not?).
Take a real life comparisson. Imagine a bar where someone starts causing trouble, and then someone tackles that person. Who would be considered the pest in that situation?
I know that I'm not cleansing lit as such, although as far as the personal boards go, there isn't mucht that needs cleansing. The "dime a dozen" threads (and we know what I mean by that), dont' get replied to and sink away into the list, that's a great way of handling such things.
However, there are some things that go on, that are no OK, and if they were I wouldn't have recieved the PM's I have from people saying they know what I'm talking about.
I'd rather not have to be doing this, but no one else is, and someone should.
DrDav said:Oh yes it is, not to mention a double standard.
Come on, it's a circular argument.
someone complains about someone complaining about someone complaining about someone complaining about someone else complaining about someone else complaining. ad infinitum.
