another piece of shit she says she loves him but will meet others at college and settle down and says she will find him some else then asks him to fuck her again so selfish and he is so stupid to even think of fucking her especially after bragging about the guys at school totally a piece of crap

what a piece of crap no real guy is going to screw his sister after she leaves
him for school and comes home bragging about getting screwed at a party a normal guy would take her home and go back to work and ignore her the rest of her christmas break try getting real

In real life, this is a management issue. I'd expect a supervisor to intervene and support their workers. There's a real problem here, as the Lit 'regulars' know.

I'm not Laurel, and I give her the benefit of the doubt. Or Manu, for that matter, but i prefer to identify myself with a very kind Laurel. But they're making a mistake, in my mind.

I believe they have a pool of talent they are allowing to slip away.

Just my thoughts, maybe I'm banned?

At least they seemed to have read the story (unless their description of the story doesn't match anything you wrote) and aren't slam banging you (sometimes in a lot worse language than that) just for writing in a particular category. (you should see what the gay bangers write.)

Sometimes the best revenge is just to zap the comment, which you can do--and then zap the next one where they scream about having their comment deleted.

Others must like the story; it's registered hot.

But, yes, if only registered/signed-in voters could vote, they wouldn't be nearly as free with the hate mail.

Although I think people didn't like the second chapter because of the way it ended. Silly readers, deciding for themselves how our stories should end!

I agree, it's frustrating. I love getting feedback, both positive and negative, I find it very helpful. And I respect people's right to remain anonymous.

I don't mind negative feedback when the person writing it takes the time to let me know what didn't work and what I could do to improve.

But I received one anonymous email from someone who said nothing more than "this story sucks so bad." No way of telling what exactly the person hated about my tale, or even if he or she had actually read it in the first place.

Oh well, can't please 'em all. I do feel sort of honored that my story motivated them to write to me at all. But only sort of.

I'm used to getting a feedback every now and again, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but always constructive. But all of a sudden I seem to be getting a flurry of ugly, hateful ones, and that had me a little upset.

Ah well, I guess I just needed to rant for a bit. If I stepped on any toes, my apologies.
