Yes, a little originality can lift one out of the troll category.![]()
It's like an alpha troll.

Yep, I misread the OP. Sorry 'bout that.

Would it be too crass if I actually responded to the trolls?
Say something like this-
@Anonymous1: I have heard of something called dialogue, but have you heard of something called "monologue"? Since, you are unlikely to hear of it inside your ass, kindly get your head out of there and look up what it means. Afterwards, you are welcome to pop your head right back in.
@Anonymous2: I am sorry that you were dropped as a child and have since had troubles using more than 1% of your grey matter at a time and am truly sorry that my story did not give you enough stroke-time. My guess would be that your hand was already in pulling pose even before the page loaded.

Don't let it happen again.![]()

You gotta wonder how many AH sissies would approve of this:
In Schubville today the high school suspended a girl, and the police arrested her for wishing bad karma on a fellow student. The fellow student keyed the girls car (ignored by school and police). The girl then posted the karma comment on FACEBOOK. The sheriff says that wishing bad karma is stalking.
LOVEBOAT
Arresting people for trifles inflates the crime stats and its safer than real police work. Our sheriff is hot for stalking folks who buy garden supplies and use too much electricity.
Then maybe your hick sheriff should be the one whose tires get slashed, windows get broken, and dog gets poisoned. Teach him to watch out for real crime. As a former city punk, I love goober law enforcement officials like that.

As you can see there are some unflattering anonymous comments. I would request one of the experienced heads to tell me which are worthwhile suggestions and which are bits of trolling. I fucking hate anonymous commentators!!

Wait until one of them reads another story you have written, causing them to anger enough so that they in turn vote bomb all of your other stories.![]()

After my first post in LW, I was stunned with some of the comments. I've replied to a few, allowed other commentors do the replying for me (warms my heart to see another reader defending my story, that's really cool!), and, in one case, the comments I received inspired a sequel to a story where I never intended to write a sequel. And, in many regards, I think the sequel is better than the original story. (The original story was http://www.literotica.com/s/doing-it-for-you if anyone cares.)
Now, with a baker's dozen of stories posted on this site, I'm falling in line with the other authors. Whatever. I delete the few that are off topic and truly offensive and leave the rest for prosperity.
Remember, the people who review fiction in Literotica are not trying to be fair and some are just showing that they have a right to say anything they wish.
There are also more than a few who are blatantly uneducated; no matter that they may have a college degree. They are fundamentally angry people. Forget them for your own peace of mind.
For those who are truly offensive, I too would delete but I would leave the rest to posterity rather than prosperity as you wrote.
No one ever deletes flattery.
You're absolutely right.
That's why I make it a point to leave up negative remarks that I get, that way people at least know I can take the bad with the good.
I ahve a vision board at home and I post some of my feedback there. I have some very good ones I look at when I need a little motivation. I also have some negative ones (that were constructive) that I look at so I don't get full of myself.
I find ^^^^ that interesting. I'll admit, feedback is like applause and the performer in me digs that sound. It's funny how easy it is for me to write off the negative feedback as coming from a bunch of uneducated pinheads while I accept the positive feedback as being delivered by obviously more intelligent readers, LOL.
Still, in the back of my mind, this is a free site and I'm giving away my talents for free.... crap, guess I need to start a new thread... probably one done before... why do we give it away for free?
