Transgendereism

It is of course your decision to make, but IMO it's not you going out of your way to be nice, when adressing someone as they wish to be gendered. It's more of a case that you're an asshole if you go out of your way to misgender.

Sort of like you don't deserve a cookie for holding up the door behind you, but you deserve a slap if you deliberately let it hit the next guy in the face. It's basic manners.

But yeah, the government should not have anything to do with it.

We're in agreement the government should not be dictating manners.

I'll decide on the spur of the moment how to handle it if my mailman ever calls me a piece of shit. Demanding another mailman would not be a response I would expect from myself.

His example was completely irrelevant anyway. Calling someone who is human a piece of shit is not, in any way, similar to calling someone who is a female "miss". Yet another poor comparison people use to get their points across.

True.

In normal circumstances, yes. But there is a degree where bad manners do rise to the level of harassment. If I stand on the driveway outside a black man's house and repeatedly scream "NIGGER!" at him and his family everytime they go outside, I'm sure they are in the right to ask for, and get, an restraining order on me.

Do you consider your example to be in any way comparable to calling a biological male Mister?

Nope. But once you do know, it's your choice to be a dick about it, or not.
Um... by being told?

"What's your name, sir?"

"Susan, and it's miss."

"Right. And you last name, miss?"

See? Rocket science.

Your feelz about words is not my concern.

I never said you should be concerned about my feelings on words anywhere on this thread.

Your use of the word "feelz" demonstrates that you are just trying to posture for the crowd and are hoping to provoke an attack so we can get a fighting circle jerk going.

I am not interested.

But if you can't see the problem with fining people for calling someone a pronoun that is scientifically acceptable, you're kind of a fucking idiot.

So if I choose to be offended by what somebody says they should be fined?

I'm highly offended by your stupidity, and I'm going to call the police.

Try reading it again. That's the exact opposite of what that sentence states.

Let's say it's someone you work with. And they have expessively asked you to stop that shit. And you keep doing it out of spite.

"Hey Steve, copy those reports, will ya."

"For the seven millionth time, that's not my name anymore."

"What-evah, Steve."

"Cut it out."

"Make me, Steve."

"I'm serious."

"Steve."

"*sigh* I'm outta here."

"Bye, Steve!"

It's in the ballpark.

Nope, but you brought up your feelings for the word gendered. You must have had a reason to do so. It's a word that means what it means, what it means, is all I'm saying.

Your use of the word "feelz" demonstrates that you are just trying to posture for the crowd and are hoping to provoke an attack so we can get a fighting circle jerk going.
Not intentionally, srsly. It's just another word to me.

I am not interested.
Good?

Be a stand up American, sue them in Civil court.

The law does not restrict everybody's speech. It is specifically targeted at employers and public servants.

If you think your boss needs to stop calling you "dumpling", now you can do something about it.

Don't forget people who own homes and like to rent them out... Those damned landlords. I see restricting their free speech totally makes sense.

People really should see this law for the massive overreach it is.

It clear as to why hashfag likes you, you just may be dumber than that goat fucker.

Most people do see this law as over reaching, and they see Obama public school bathroom directive as over reaching too. However, they don't speak up because they don't want to come under personal attack. Dissent means you are full of hate and have a phobia (a mental disorder in and of itself)! The attackers are Virtual Signalling, they believe that by going on the attack their peers will view them as good people.

Are you happy and well-adjusted?

I don't know about that, but as far as I'm concerned they're all a bunch of morons.

I mean, just look at the hateful and demeaning manner in which they habitually stalk those whom they suspect of being "female impersonators" (Ann and myself being just two in the line of many).

And then they bat the eyelashes and sing the kumbaia, and accuse the same people of being "racists" and "cis-trans- bigotted".

Good lord !
