It's coming on the market.
I don't get it. Why not just say Barbie is trans? She has no genitals anyway.

This is so wrong.
They are deliberately planting ideas into undevelopped and impressionable minds. What if the child starts identifying with her new best friend?
This is no longer about combating discrimination, since there are so many more appropriate ways of doing it.
I fixed your post.
A righteous fix. It is a recruitment tool.

They are pushing this on children really hard now.
And why this is a great idea is always vague.
For instance, NBC news on transgender kids:
"Experts say children who clearly identify as the opposite gender will benefit from starting to transition sooner rather than later. Kate Snow follows two families on their journey."
http://http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/transgender-kids
Who are these experts? What sort of experts are they? Why are their names and qualifications not specified? What are he long term effects of suppressing puberty? How can a child make a large, likely irreversible decision about his/her sexual health? If a child can consent to "transition" , why can't that same child consent to sex?
But in the name of inclusion and tolerance (really, virtue signalling) no one is asking these questions and instead swallow what they are being fed.
It cannot be in the best interests of children to help them develop abnormally. I've seen medical testimony that transgenderism is a mental disorder.
No doubt you've seen similar testimony about homosexuality. But the psychological community does not agree. Transsexuality as a pathology was removed from the DSM-5.
What do you think of transitioning prepubescent children, as per what I have posted.?
I would defer to a psychologist's opinion on that.
How can a psychologist speak to the physical risks of transitioning pre-puberty? Why would you listen to a psychologist over an actual medical doctor who physically examines children and is an expert in their physical development?

And what are your credentials in the matter?
I have none, which is why I am asking questions about long term effects instead of making pronouncements. See post #7.... A series of questions. Why do you take issue with asking questions? Do you simply believe whatever you are told, so long as it fits your point of view?
My first thought is of other crazy mothers who may force transgenderism on their child so they can get a TV show, write books, and get a toy deal.
I would also defer to the opinion of an M.D. -- and if the two disagreed, I would not allow my kid to be transitioned.

What if these trans groups start pressuring doctors to accept this as healthy? Threaten their livelihood by ruining their reputation, calling them racist, sexist, transphobe, homophobe, natzi, xenophobic, etc.?
Doctors are accustomed to pressure from cranks -- e.g., anti-vaxxers and homeopaths -- and do not let it affect their judgment.

Know who else doesn't like anti-vaxxers and homeopaths? Drug companies. They want docs to sell their meds. Guess what else these drug companies make? Hormones.
