I truly wish I didn't need to make this post, but it seems quite probable that many of you may not have heard that Literotica has suffered a tragic loss. Joesephus has been killed in an auto accident in Latin America, shortly after attending his mother's wedding. He would have celebrated his 26th birthday later this month. Joesephus was newly married and he yearned for the day when his wife could return home safely from active duty in Iraq. He would soon have received a Masters degree from a prominent Texas university, where he was an outstanding athlete as well as an excellent student.

Although I never had the privilege of meeting Joesephus personally, exchanging correspondence with him and editing some of his stories quickly convinced me that he was a genuinely good guy, as well as a writer of great potential. I miss him deeply, as, I’m certain, will countless others.

English was not his native language but he was determined to share his unique view of life, and he was succeeding. Joesephus created a sizable body of stories that deeply touched thousands of readers here at Literotica, and he was planning many more which, sadly, we will now be unable to share with us.

The body of work he created in an amazingly short time can be found at:

CC, I'm truly sorry for your loss! I know that there really isn't much anyone can say to provide comfort but please know that Joesephus and his family are in my thoughts. *hugs*

Joe was a great young man, a wonderful writer and an awesome human being. His understanding of human nature and psychology was astounding...but more than that, I was honoured to call him my friend.

His death leaves a big hole a lots of people's lives. He won't be forgotten!

Goodbye Joe. :rose:
