tracking Santa

It's a great idea just a pain when you live in a timezone so many hours ahead. My littlies are usually in bed dreaming of Santa before the site starts tracking. Only 6 hours left to go til they're tucked up in bed waiting. :D

Fun Stuff! We've done it the last two years and I think my ex had more fun than the baby, but that's okay.

This year she'll understand a bit more and it's great for winding them up and polishing off the fantastic aura surrounding Santa Claus.

Lucky - I love your AV 's these days! Truly beautiful to see the two of you together!

Um, back to Santa - :D

We always follow the tracking situation. And my kids have always emailed letters to Santa! :rose:

I do this every year, its wonderful....and makes the kids go right to bed.

I'm on board with this too...It is a great hit with my kids!

I've just shown my kids the site, they can't wait until it starts tracking! Won't be long now. :)

I'm just waiting for the inevitable commercial rip-off.

Like, Christmas Morning, the site tracks Santa -- after picking up Mrs. Claus and the Elves -- on his way to spend the rest of the Holiday at Disney World.

You're the sweetest! :rose:

I used to do the letters to Santa thing. It was neat. My Mom sent them off and we always got a really neatly rolled letter back from him. I've still got them and wish I knew where to send my daughters so she could have fun with it as well. :)

Most local post offices will accept letters to Santa and there are organizations that pick them up and send a return letter to your child.

Check it out for next year :)

Just like everyone else, Santa has to get clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration before his annual flight. So, the examiner shows up and walks slowly around the sleigh, checking the reindeer harnesses, the runners, and the sled's structure. Then he weighs Santa and performs a few balance calculations to determine the sleigh's payload.

"OK, everything checks out," he says as he hops into the sleigh. "But you still have to pass the test flight."

Santa climbs aboard, then notices that the FAA examiner has a shotgun across his lap. "What's that for?" he gulps.

"Technically, I'm not supposed to tell you this," winks the examiner, "but you're going to lose an engine during takeoff."

Aww, I wish I'd seen this yesterday. It might have been easier to get them to bed lol

Great site.
