toy(s)

The Pocket Rocket. It's small, only take one AA battery, and is lots of fun! Another bonus is it's fairly inexpensive.

MMMmmmmm....

Recently I've been turned on to the Jack Rabbit - I can't say why you just have to experience it!

I am a little shy, she does not know about this question, where can I get the toys? Can not go to a retail store locally!

There are lots of stores online...they ship in plain brown packaging, no big label saying "SEX TOYS INSIDE" or anything like that...

Check out Good Vibrations or Toys in Babeland or X-or or stores linked from Lit...(no, I don't work for these places and therefore don't get a commission....just some bookmarks from my files...) ;)

Good luck!

The silver bullet...2 AA batteries...varying speeds...inexpensive...position it right on the clit and it can send you into outerspace

Silver bullet, i second that. You can put it on your clit, give a sensual massage with it, put it inside, and have him inside...mm... vibes, dildos for him to use on you or you to tease him, anal plugs, anal beads (him an her toys) ... then there are kathy cuffs for some light bondage (they have long nylon ends to tie them to eachother to the bed, where ever. Ice you can make yourself, candles (i forget which are best) are inexpensive. You can warm up or cool down your toys with little bowls of ice/hot water... foods, syrups, ediable paints, lotions, oils...

Adam and Eve.com for toys is good too

I'm always so hesitant on recommending toys to people. It seems like such a personal preference thing. My suggestions would be to actually go see & feel one of the toys you folks might be interested in. Online photos will not do an item justice! They don't show intensity nor do they show how solidly an item is constructed. Find one that might interest you & then do a price comparison on it with some of the sites people have suggested. Do some research & leg work on it if you really want to find one that fits. What works for one might not be right for you.

Besides half the fun is in experimenting & trying out different things! Why take our word for it- go find out yourself!

I love toys, my best advice is seriously do some research, look at pictures think of textures seperately, then compair together and see what gets the other wet/hard and by turning on each other the search and then finally the buy is such an experience.

In Canada, try Venus Envy and Come As You Are.

As for which toys, LustEngine is right. This is totally a personal preference thing. Another factor might be why you're getting it - are you going to be away on travel? Are you looking for something you could use on her? What's your budget?

If you want something inexpensive, go with a small vibe as has been recommended above. Another fun one is the "lipstick" vibrator - it really does look like lipstick, but when you twist the handle you get a buzz instead of more lipstick!

If you want a fancy-schmancy whiz-bang does-everything, I recommend the Rabbit Pearl (it's pink) and its smaller companion, the Rabbit Habit (purple). It's a Japanese-made dual-action vibrator/dildo, and was popularized by its appearance on Sex and the City.

I've got to run an errand now, but I'll post links when I get back.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my G-spot vibrator.

I've said this in other threads... where are the men with cocks shaped like this vibrator!?!?!?!

<ahem> back to subject... this thing is curved at the end to stimulate the G-spot and it's DIVINE. Not terribly fussy, not fancy, just simple and to the "point".

The Silver bullet mentioned above is pretty versatile as well... the one I had quit working in a very short period of time though... and it wasn't the batteries. They are fairly inexpensive and not at all threatening to anyone... where as the Gspot one might make some guys nervous... don't know from experience, I use mine for self pleasure... there are other things I share in bed.

I'm too scatter brained to bring too many toys to bed with me... they distract me a lot and I'd rather focus on my lover... Now if the toy is for me to use on him... a blindfold, feather or whatever... different story but I like to think of those as accesories, not toys.

I agree with Etoile and LE about talking to her, every woman is different. For example, most women on this thread recommended some kind of clit vibe. But if you put one on me it will numb me out so badly I won't be able to come AT ALL (and not in a good way).

Definitely ask before you try something. And if you agree to try something together, be sure you have good communication all throughout the experience, as well as after all the hormones have subsided.

(Hurriedly putting Orchid's brand new clit vibe back in its packaging & hoping I saved the receipt)

While it might be great to surprise someone with a new toy, realize it might not be the right thing for them. Try to discuss before hand and go shopping together- it can still be from you to her.:)
