They are a blast!
You don't actually "use" the toys... they have batteries in them and you can, turn them on, and touch them and see the product before buying it, but as far as playing with them, no.
The parties I've been to the lady will usually have prizes and games that get played...you can also see how slick the lube is by putting some of it on a finger or soemtimes they'll have an open jar of some kind of lotion (usually soemthing that warms) you can smell some of the body lotions etc... it's really fun.
The one's I have gone to the ordering is done off in another room... one lady had stock there and the other had to order it... the one who had the stuff there already, put the merchandise in brown bags so that no one knew what the others had gotten unless the person wanted to share.

my mom used to go to them. She called them "naughty ladies parties", though I actually think they were more lingerie oriented. I'd love to go to one, but with young people rather than older people. I get embarassed being sexual around older people.

some of my co-workers are going to one at a client's house tonight, I'm so jealous I wanted to go but *sigh* the woman came in and invited them on my day off...though they promised to tell me all the details and bring a brochure...it should be starting about now actually *smirks*

Heck SG why don't you host one? You can do a search for home toy sales, or adult novelties online and then click on find a distributor in your area... or something similar... you might be surprised at the number of friends who'd like to attend!

I'm actually planning to be a distributor for these, with my gf. She went to one last year, and I love the whole toy thing, and everyone knows to come to me for sex help, so I figured I could just get this and shorten things for them. We would do a couple party, where everyone comes in and does some stuff together, then guys and girls do some things separately, and then they come together to buy stuff.
I think it would be fun, and it would be alot of fun for me and my gf to have all these toys, though I guess we couldn't really use the toys were were going to use for the demos....that would be wrong....but maybe not if we washed them real good after we were done???

I have only ever been to one of these parties. I went with my hubby as it was supposed to be for couples. He and a friend of his were the only guys that showed up though and made it kind of uncomfortable for them..LOL!!
The girl who did the demonstrating was great and tried to make everything fun. She put the "warming cream" in the bathroom if anyone wanted to try it... (Interesting! )
There was little quiz at the end of the whole thing, and we got to keep the little penis pencils...
Great fun, I'd definately recommend going to one if you can!!

I wish I could say it's because I've been too busy playing with my new toys but I can't...unfortunately!! I've been having problems with the computer freezing up for some reason. I get a brain ache just thinking about it! I've actually been able to check e-mail AND get onto this site without having to reboot which is surprising. *sigh*
Anyway, here's what happened at the party I went to last Saturday...
Out of a roster of 30 people, only 4 showed up; me, two people I invited, and one of my invitee's friends. There were no games, which I thought kinda sucked but that was just me; I'm a game person. The 'program' for a Slumber Party party is to go through the lubes, lotions, and bath aides first. That way, if you are uncomfortable with discussing 'sexual aids' you can leave after that portion of the party. She actually walked around and squirted lube onto all of our hands so we could try it and sprayed us with 'Body Dew' after bath oil. There were some items she passed around like the sheet spray, the candles...stuff like that. I think she was scared we'd use too much lube or something.
Our hostess/rep didn't go over any of the novelty items like handcuffs, games, towels, etc. She mentioned that these items were available then quickly moved on to the toys. Most of these were passed around so we could see how they worked but some (the ones that she personally didn't like) weren't. Her order room was right off of the livingroom but all of the ladies there respected each other's privacy and avoided the area while orders were being placed.
She didn't push becoming a Slumber Party representative or hosting a party which I appreciated because you know how some parties can be...'and you too can get this bottle of massage oil free if you only host 15 parties in the next two weeks!!!'
All in all, it was a fun time although only 4 ladies were there. If I had real furniture in my house I'd have a party but I have nowhere for them to sit. I felt like a perv since I was the only one who knew what rimming was!
No orgy was to be had...sorry Aston.

One came to my college, it was so much fun. All grades as long as the girls were over 18. Females only, batteries in... so you can listen to how loud or soft they are, you can feel them on your arms, and usually depending on the giver you play a silly game with the toys. Its a lot of fun! All I know, as far as it breaking out into an orgy... it depends on the ladies afterwards...I was on a college campus, and there was a sudden shortage of batteries (ha) Don't forget there is probaby gag gifts, and games, and all of those things.
