Not exactly a strictly classical literature list, but...

Igie, from Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe. Roland Deschain. Samuel Hamilton from East of Eden. Owen Meany, in a non-creepy way. Atticus Finch.

Atticus was kick ass. Holden Caulfield, Jane Eyre and Apsalar from Erikson's Malazan books.

My official top 5 classical and not so classical characters I've fallen for:

1. Dr. Zhivago (Dr. Zhivago by Boris Pasternak)
2. Frederic Henry (A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway)
3. Tyrion Lannister (A Song of Ice & Fire by George R. R. Martin)
4. Mrs. Frisby & Nicodemus( both from Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien, the first "novel" I read repeatedly in 2nd or 3rd grade. I cannot remember)
5. Mr. Darcy- I still have a crush on him.
