1) Your post was a long piece of uncredited prose
2) You have a sig line with a quote from Ben Franklin
3) I asked if Franklin was also the author of the prose, humorously juxtaposing the contemporary work with that of an 18th century colonist, i.e. "as if!".
4) "Poor Richard's Almanac" was Franklin's newspaper publication in which he printed various whimsical meanderings and thoughts.
5) If you have to explain the jokes they aren't funny and one should just go play by himself in the corner remembering to keep his hands to himself.
