TOOL - Fear Inoculum

Incredible album. Definitely worth such a long wait from 10,000 Days. The guitar work is brilliant, the drumming is the best i've heard on any album, the production is the best i've heard on any album. The only disappointment for me is the lack of Maynard. He's in top form but there's a lot of restraint in using him.

I reckon it's only just behind Lateralus as their best work.

I've been loving the album so far. Listened through the whole thing a few times, but usually I can't get past the first two tracks. Pneuma has had me coming back again and again. It's simple and complex. I'm no great guitar player, but this is something that is attainable to me. The thing that gets me coming back again and again is the crazy time signature(s). I love it.

I have enjoyed it so far. I'm doing a bit of a rediscovery of the band since its debut.

Sadly, I usually only listen to music when driving the car on road trips, and I'm biking more of those these days, so . . . .
