Well yesterday was my wifes Birthday so I took her out to dinner. Her choice of restaraunt of course. She chose Olive Garden.

Now it's been years since we ate there and I wasn't expecting a lot. I'm usually disapointed by most restaraunts. This time I wasn't.

I had a dish there they call Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo. I enjoyed it greatly.

On the other hand my mother mentioned a recipe to me a while back, one that I have got to try. Sausage Stuffed Zuchinni. Man I have got to try it.

So glad your wife liked her birthday treat - and that you did too.

Now to business, tell us all the details of Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo...

Happy belated birthday to your wife, cat.

The Steak Gorganzola Alfredo is one of my favorite dishes at the Olive Garden. They have some excellent veal selections as well.

She says thank you to all of you.

Right now she is waiting for me to start with dinner.

Eww. Brie. Sorry, don't like the stuff, I'm guessing it won't work with something like Mozerella.

Brie on it's own is a taste that takes some getting used to. In a sauce it can be fantastic.

Then again I also happen to like a cheese called Hand Cheese from Germany. Tastes differ.

That sausage stuffed zucchini sounds delicious! Definitely an improvement over stuffed peppers! :D

My Russian farm-girl mother used to cook sausage stuffed zucchini, frequently with zucchini she'd grown herself. It's fantastically good. I can still recall how it tasted. It's a must when the zukes are coming on thick and fast!
