Parody has its time and place but I am concerned that a lot of fresh, eager new posters might be off-put by a wall of parody threads to wade through.
I mean it would be fine if they were all hillarious, and it is mostly a problem with a select few parody thread makers.
Yes, I realize I could put them on ignore but I worry from the bottom of my heart that new visitors to the forum may have never seent the snazzy new software from vBulletin and know how to pull-down the offending users menu and click "ignore user" that is a lot of steps.
The GB, not for nothing craves new users and fresh meat. I mean fresh blood, after all.
Could we consider having a sub-form where uses that wish to engage in parody could have their own special place?
Failing that, how about a "how to ignore people" tutorial.
And can we make that a sticky?
