My SO will be graduating from school/college with her degree in Massage Therapy in less than a month...............

Indie's jaw pain has been going on since Thursday night. Last night I gave her the massage to see if it's a muscular problem that is causing jaw pain. From what I can tell, it's not. Could be a tendon, could be a disc in the joint, but the muscles around that area seem to be fine.

Are the (deep) muscles in her shoulders (under the shoulder blades) real tight? Those can cause lower jaw problems. And it takes a couple of massages to actually help with the pain. May even take a few days/weeks.

My moms massage therapist is here and I am asking her questions.

There was some tension, but nothing that I can think of that would cause such pain. Indie says her jaw is now off-centre, so I'm leaning towards something with the joint and the tendons. But when I go over tonight, I will be giving her another massage, and I'll check that out.

(I'm a trained masseuse as well)
