I'm in the first serious relationship I've had since getting my tongue pierced about 8 1/2 months ago. i know my guy loves it but does anyone have any advice on how to use it to its fullest advantage? thanks

Hi. I had a tongue ring for about a year during which I had two different boyfriends, each of whom loved it! The sad part of the story is that I began to get sore throats and couldn't figure out the cause... finally I took out the ring and immediately my health improved. So, the first part of my advise to to keep it very clean. I always cleaned mine and had no problem for about 10 months... maybe I just became sensitive.

The second part of my advise is more fun...to to enjoy it while you have it... my last boyfriend enjoyed it most on that spot right under his head .

Now, I still wonder what a tongue ring would do to me... why don't you try to get him to get one?!

KEEP IT CLEAN... can't stress this enuff...
My girlfriend and I have had ours done going on 18 months... I can't tell exactly where she puts it... but I know that I can drive her crazy with mine...
Lioness... if you are worried about the pain and swelling factor... thy guy that did my toungue advised me on the following

Load up on Midol the day of, and the next morning, this helps with pain and swelling. Dilute your mouthwash, and use it everytime you kiss, eat, smoke, drink, ANYTHING. If you use the mouthwash full strength, you will develop thrush.

As for the pain involved... ever bitten your toungue? (Who hasn't?) Well getting a steel hurts less!
