Tommy Tubby's Greatest Hts

"Our government wasn't set up for one group to have all three branches of government — wasn’t set up that way, you know, the House, the Senate, and the executive.” – Tommy Tuberville
and there was i thinking it was legislative, judiciary, and executive. silly me. clearly i'm in the wrong job!

“It’s concerning to me that a guy can run for president of the United States and have an opportunity to win when he leans more to a socialist type of government, you know, one-payer system in health care, raise taxes 20 percent, when the other half the country is basically voting for freedom, let us control our own lives, stay out of our life.” – Tommy Tuberville

It looks sometimes as if people deliberately fabricate some event like the Arraignment (or a cockup like BobbleBert being late for a vote), just so that they can 'abstain' from a vote that they know in their hearts is plain wrong.

I'm feeling optimistic today.

Raju then showed a clip of him speaking to Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL). “Do you think those records were secure at Mar a Lago?” Raju asked.

“Yeah, they were secure. I mean, he said they had to go in there and they had to bring a locksmith to open some of the locks,” Tuberville replied.
“Some were in the bathroom, though,” Raju noted, referring to a photo in the indictment showing boxes in a Mar-a-Lago bathroom.

“Well, I don’t know about that now. I don’t know about that,” Tuberville replied.

“Right now we are so woke in the military, we are losing recruits right and left,” he said. “Secretary [Carlos] Del Toro of the Navy he needs to get to building ships; he needs to get to recruiting; and he needs to get wokeness out of our Navy. We’ve got people doing poems on aircraft carriers over the loudspeaker. It is absolutely insane the direction that we’re headed in our military.”

He'd have been all fussed up about Glenn Miller and the various other entertainers, eh?

It’s always a mystery to me why a certified piece of shit like Tuberville hasn’t gotten a hatchet in his skull at some point prior to this. He was a terrible football coach with absolutely zero ability and he has picked up in politics right where he left off in coaching. His IQ is about 84 which explains why the morons of Alabama vote for him. I guess they figure a retarded white man is a good example of what their shit hole of a state is all about.

Advocating violence against public officials may draw unwanted legal attention.

He is running out of time to run for higher office. Maybe he could be college football's Big Helmet.

aiding and abetting our enemies, tubby?
In recent days, secretaries of the US Army, Navy and Air Force have accused Mr Tuberville’s action of “actively” eroding “the foundation of America’s enduring military advantage” with a misguided protest.

Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro said Mr Tuberville is effectively “aiding and abetting communist and other autocratic regimes,” while Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall condemned the “unprecedented” blockade.

“Senator Tuberville has no experience in the military,” Mr Kendall told CNN on 9 September. “It’s his first time in public service and I don’t think he appreciates how much of an impact this is having and how negative an impact it is for the military.”

In an interview with CNN, Mr Del Toro accused the senator of “playing Russian roulette with the very lives of our servicemembers by denying them the opportunity to actually have the most experienced combat leaders in those positions to lead them in times of peace and in times of combat.”

Tubby should be indicted for subversion of the military. He's been deliberately weakening the capability of the armed forces just so that he can blame Biden and no Republican has the mental fortitude to tell him where to get off.

/Let's see what Derpy has to say about that...

Schumer said the move was "not a path the vast majority of senators on either side of the aisle want to go down but Sen. Tuberville is forcing us to confront his obstruction head on."

The U.S. Army is now without a Senate-confirmed uniformed general leading the service, and the U.S. Marines are without a Senate-confirmed uniformed general leading the service for the first time in more than a century.

this is really a shocking state of affairs and no one person should hold the kind of power to fuck things up this badly

Then you need re write Article 2....how else do you keep someone like Trump from fucking things up that badly....

Tommy Tuberville demanded the Senate break with tradition and hold up or down votes on ALL military general staff promotions. The majority of the Senate thought this would lead to "politicization" of the military, because when Federal judges began being confirmed individually it led to sharp partisan divides (and we got shitheads like Alito and Kavanaugh).

Shumer gave in today (Tuberville howled with glee that he'd somehow "won" the game) and had a role call vote for the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force General Charles "CQ" Brown. Brown is African American. The vote was 89-11 to confirm

Eleven members of the Senate deemed Brown unworthy of confirmation as he was obviously an "affirmative action" selection.

The members of the "No Negros Coalition" were all Rapepublican:
  • Mike Braun (Ind.)
  • Ted Cruz (Cancun)
  • Josh Hawley (Mo.)
  • Mike "Whitey" Lee (Utah)
  • Roger Marshall (Kan)
  • Eric Schmitt (Mo.)
  • JD Vance (Ohio)
  • Ron Johnson (Wis)
  • Cynthia Lummis (Wyo)
  • Marco Rubio (Fla.)
  • Tommy Tuberville (Fla)

I'm sure our board racist AJ will be tickled that both of his homestate senators in Missouri voted against Brown.
