Yep, they announced today wrestling is gonna be at the 2020 Olympics. Squash is dropped (that's not a metaphor, btw).

I've been to Madrid once, on a school trip after I graduated from high school. I was ungodly sick by the time we got to Madrid.

I doubt that it is the stability of the region. How could anyone predict stability of any region for the year 2020? There are half a million Syrian refugees in Turkey but they are no where close to Istanbul. I think that they would be all back to Syria before 2020! If the committee is considering long term stability, did they consider the possibility of another Tsunami for Tokyo?

Japan has the infrustructure ready already. Istanbul has been working on the infrastructrure for a while and they have an agreessive plan in place with a lot of funding in place. But, who knows what they'lll discover during the construction! They found an 11th century Roman port during metro excavation! and now they have 7 city blocks of historical markers. Lots of ships, commercial and war-ships found...

Perhaps, Istanbul would get it when they have it all ready.
