I'm so damned glad that I don't have any this age anymore, and that there's not even the slightest possibility that I'll ever have another this age. :D

1. If I like it, it's mine.

2. If it's in my hands, it's mine.

3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.

4. If I had it a week ago, it's mine.

5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.

6. If I'm doing or building something, all the pieces are mine.

7. If it looks just like mine, it's mine.

8. If I think it's mine, it's mine.

9. If it it's near me, it's mine.

10. If it's broccoli, it's yours.

11. If it's yours, I'll break it or drool on it until you don't want it anymore. And then it's mine.

I know politicians that think like that.

ETA: Actually, my youngest granddaughter is just like that...everything is hers and don't argue with her about it either. :D

And next, Cloudy's gonna tell us how innocent and uncharacterically mature she was at that age. Uh huh. You don't fool us.

I have this impulsive desire to grab you, bend you over my knee, and spank your bottom until you whimper.

Waaait...Is this a trick? Whyyyy yooou sick...SICK...PUPPY!

:) This is the reason we try so hard to socialize our children. Moms are challenged, as some "spawn" take the above more to heart than others. With patience, we teach them, that they must respect others, in order to get by in the world.

as WR James points out, we will next be concerned with teaching this to our grandchildren...

Speak for yourself dear. :) I'm rather looking forward to some time lapse between tours. Even then, as a grandparent (which I really do hope for), I plan on acting primarily as a consultant. :D

Though seriously, there seems to be a trend within the last decade of grandparents and other family members solely raising children. Another consideration for national health services I'm sure they've accounted for.

Perhaps I am persnickety tonight, dear, what part of "we need to socialize our children" did you disagree with, exactly?

..........
Please pardon any attempt at humor. I am trying to stay upbeat with a pending issue looming over my household.
