Today's going to be a day of tissues for me...

I've already had tears welling up just over a simple interview from "The Fireman's Story".

God knows what I'll be like at the end of the day. But I want to watch. I want to be there in spirit at all the church services and all the commemorative events.

I want to watch a rerun of the footage of last year.

I want to be reminded as well.

I plan to watch no TV. But yes, I do want to be reminded of the friends and neighbors I lost, not because I lost them, but just to keep in mind what great people they were, and how unfortunate it is that they have not been allowed to continue to be vibrant, contributing, loving human beings.

If the post would have been Redwave's I would agree with you 100%. I believe that pp man is looking at the loss of innocent lives and not the loss of a capitalistic icon.

I cried last night as we had the Fireman's story too and replaying some of the footage.
In the supermarket today there is an American flag stuck to the window.
I will never forget.

I'll take PP at his word for this, he seems like a decent guy, he just likes to be provocative and is outspoke about his beliefs. I may not agree with them, but I respect him for them.

I suspect we have more to worry about on 9/12 when everyone relaxes when nothing happens tomorrow.
