There are. It is. Normally a town of 300k has at least one good pizza shop.

Good, is a subjective term.

Tell me thør, what's the best pizza place to eat? I'll be there next weekend for the last time til maybe fall. Firetap had decent pesto artichoke. Fat Ptarmigan was eh. I've eaten enough Round Table to last me a lifetime. How is the Moose's Tooth?

Edit: I guess I'm late with my question.

Firetap is okay, but I'm not a fan of the service.

Have not been downtown to Fat Ptarmigan.

Round Table is just a national chain pizza.

Moose's Tooth has good pizza and quite a variety. They make a lot of eclectic pizza there. It also has a huge following, which is great for business. But, as far as I'm concerned, it's not THAT good to have to wait for an hour to get a table. I had takeout from there, yesterday. Ate a small Shishmaref Cannonball pizza (named after Herbie Nayukpuk) that was on special. The Bear Tooth, a theater pub, is owned by the same folk and has a shorter list of pizza'a available, but it has other things on the menu. You can check out the menu's on-line.

Guido's offers traditional pizza and has been in business since forever. I like 'em.

Millano's has good traditional pizza, but their cheesesteak sandwiches are better. Service sucks.

Glacier Brewhouse has good pizza, if you are downtown.

The Rock has decent pizza over on the east side.

In Eagle River, Pizza Man is the way to go. I like either the PMS (Pizza Man Special or the Hot and Spicy.

Jamico's was the place to go when I was a kid. Haven't been there for 40 years.

Thank you for the input.

Everyone raves about Moose's Tooth, but when we drive by, it's packed. I'd be annoyed if I had to wait that long. All the others I've heard nothing about but I'm going to keep this list in mind. We will probably be closest to Pizza Man, and I love spicy.
