Shit...

I've not been in for a while, and found so many beautiful photos by Thør and Aquagal that I wanted to comment on, but...way too many. Here's a few before I gave up. Lets just say every pic posted on this page is fucking awesome (do you mind if I swear? ;)).

On this day in 1867, the Russian flag was lowered and the US flag raised at Sitka, Alaska.

Very nice thread, Thør. Very nice.

Very nice thread, Thør. Very nice.

People often wonder why people live here in the cold north and I post a few pics to show why. And then, there's pics of news that may be of interest. Swearing is fine.

Thank you.

I can't even remember where this was...Palmer? Wasilla area? Maybe you've seen this, thør. I think a doctor lives there and makes an addition often?

Dr. Seuss house.

Edit: it's in Willow.

I don't think it's going any higher. I went through the effort to look up the owner once on the property tax rolls once, but I didn't write it down. You can see the place from the road. Heading north on the Parks, start looking straight ahead just after you've gotten around the first curve after crossing Sheep Creek. It's easier to see in winter than summer. It's also on the Google Maps photography.

Thanks! I goggled it and there were all kinds of various pictures at different angles. I didn't know that each addition hadn't been finished until recently.

So, it's finished? Some of it was visqueened in a couple years ago.

Wow. Such beautiful pinks and reds. You're really outdoing yourself lately.
