It likely costs 8 bucks in shipping costs just to get it up there.

You don't start from the price point, you start from the delivered cost and then put your OH, G&A and Profit on top. It's probably mailed to Barrow on bypass mail, so it should really cost about $20/gallon.

Just think of the profits to be made!

The alternative of powdered milk is just gross. I wonder if raising a goat for milk is more or less money to buy feed for than the cost of flying in milk.

I dunno, but would be something to look at.

That blows my mind.

I'm sure you are used to it. I don't know if I could live in a place that has such long days. Seems it would mess with the rythym of your internal body clock.

It's great if you're not tied to a job.

To quote Carly:

I remember a time, rompin' through the woods
Sun against our skin instead of clothes
When we felt hungry we would eat, when we felt glad we would dance
And whenever we felt drowsy we would doze.

I've no problem sleeping with just regular curtains. I believe there tends to be more go go go in the summer and hibernation and recovery in the winter with the shorter days.

That also could be why I fell asleep during the previews at Despicable Me and well into an hour of the movie today.
