Fucking moose......
Hehe. Thør, they won't be in your garden eating your daisies for months!
Contemplating going to the ice carving competition or if I'm going to wimp out.
Just had breakfast out and the diner's heat was messed up. Kriner's here in town, run by the folks that used to run Sourdough Sal's in Soldotna. Great food. Nipply.
I hate to sit down and eat with a heavy coat on.
Breaking News: ***Freezing Rain Advisory***
Posted: January 29, 2013 at 5:00 pm
The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory, which is in effect from 9 am to 7 pm tomorrow.
Western Kenai Peninsula residents, especially those in Kenai and Soldotna, should be cautious when driving.
The NWS office in Anchorage is expected ice accumulation up to one tenth of an inch.
Light snow this evening will continue into the early hours of Wednesday as a weather front approaches from the south.
That snow will likely change to sleet and freezing rain by late morning, north of Clam Gulch, and changing back to snow or rain tomorrow evening.
Roads and other exposed surfaces may become slick, making travel difficult. Drivers are asked to use caution and travel slowly.
