Once upon a time, in the land of high ambitions and wooden dreams, Pinocchio Trump decided it was time to expand his horizons. He had made quite a name for himself—a success story—but now he fancied himself a real, real estate mogul. So, with Geppetto’s Elon’s blessing (and a reluctant loan), Trump set his sights on Greenland.

“It’s perfect!” Trump exclaimed, poring over maps in his newly opened “Greenland’s Visions Realty” office. “All that open land, just waiting for development. A golf resort! The biggest, greenest, most luxurious golf resort the world has ever seen! They’ll come from far and wide, and they’ll call it… Trump’s Greatest Golf Course and Hotel Resort!”

Elon, ever the voice of reason, raised a cautious eyebrow. “Uh, Donnie, have you actually been to Greenland?”

Trump waved him off. “Details, Musky, details! The name says it all—Greenland! It’s got to be lush and verdant. A paradise!”

With the help of some smooth-talking lawyers [yes-men], Trump sealed the deal and bought a sprawling tract of land in Greenland. He spared no expense shipping in equipment, designing promotional materials, and crafting a slogan: “Come Play Where the Grass is Greener!”

But when Trump finally arrived on his newly acquired land, reality hit him like a rogue wave off the Arctic Ocean. Greenland, as it turned out, wasn’t exactly living up to its name. Instead of rolling fields of emerald grass, Trump found himself staring at an icy, rugged tundra. The wind howled like a banshee, and the “verdant pastures” were little more than patches of moss clinging desperately to rocks.

“Fuck a Democrat on a cracker,” Trump muttered, his wooden knees knocking together in the freezing cold. “This… this isn’t green!”

Elon, perched by his shoulder, like Jimmy Cricket, tried not to look smug. “I did mention checking the place out first.”

Undeterred, Trump refused to let his dream die. “We’ll make it green,” he declared, his nose growing slightly from the optimistic fib. “We’ll import grass—loads of it! We’ll warm the place up with some… uh… heaters!”

It wasn’t long before the first shipment of sod arrived, only to freeze solid overnight. The heaters short-circuited, and the imported palm trees wilted within hours. The locals—who’d watched this circus unfold with equal parts amusement and pity—finally approached him.

“You know,” said a weathered Inuit elder, “Greenland isn’t named for its greenery. It was a bit of a marketing ploy centuries ago. Maybe you should work with the land, not against it.”

For once, Trump took some sage advice from an elder and trodded off to the airbase to ponder the deal.

Sipping hot cocoa at the airbase, Elon gave a satisfied nod. “You know, Donny, you may be as hard-headed a dipshit as the Democrats say you are. By the way, interest rates on my loan contract to you kick in at midnight, so…”

Trump grinned, his nose staying put for once and not up Elon’s... “Greenland isn’t so bad after all. I’ll find a sucker to unload it on, maybe Vivvik what’s-his-name. And hey, Elonnie… at least I didn’t buy Iceland!”

And so, Trump learned an important lesson about doing his homework and embracing what makes a place—or a dream—special. The Arctic winds howled, the Greendlanders laughed, and Trump’s Glacier Golf Course remained covered in snow.
