AfterHours - when I post here, or my wife does, or in Newsgroups, when I chat or post in forums connected to my usual chat site, or even in response to my music and other sites, I - we - are exposed to attack by trolls of various sorts, unregistered sometimes, ocassionally registered, though maybe under a different handle than usual -

what you have to recognize is that THEY have problems, THEY have issues.

Don't let them get you down, don't let them win. Use ignore devices where possible, but otherwise, shrug it off. Best thing is not to respond, either - most seem to do it because they crave the attention it brings.

Know that you always have more supportors. Admirers tend to be less vocal than we ought to be sometimes, but Lit, more than many other places, is populated by NICE people.

I tried sending you an email, but it says you're not accepting any. So I'm posting this here in hopes that you decide to come back and check out the responses that your thread might have gotten.

I understand your frustrations. I've been there. But we have to let these things go and not get us so worked up.

I tend to spend most of my time here at Literotica in the Amature pic feedback forum.. Yeah, sure, I LOVE looking at all the sexy men and women, big, little, skinny fat, short or tall, young or old. I love them all! ... But I have to admit that mostly I spend my time here at Lit in the amature pic forum because the people seem genuinely nicer. There always seems to be so much more "drama" and figting on the other boards (IE: The General board.) compared to this one. In no way do I mean to offend any persons who visit the other forums more so than this one, it's just that in my opinion the people in the amature pic forum seem less apt to fight or down another person for who they are, what they look like or the things they like....

BUT... there will always be a few that come in here to fuck with people... We CAN NOT let these assholes get to us... We have to simply let it go and ignore it. Please, remember those who do care and are decent people and ignore the trolls.

I hope you reconsider, AfterHours...

Why do people appear so shocked that they sometimes get negative comments regarding their posts? Do they expect people to leave their negativity behind when they type in www.literotica.com?

Maybe there should be a warning box when you upload pics saying that if you don't think you can handle any negative comments you may receive, don't post. And if it's that hurtful when you do receive something bad, don't post a thread bringing even more focus on the fact that you've been upset......unless of course you like the attention and want to read all those "Don't go" messages that invariably get posted.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Celebrate the positive comments, ignore the negative.

Yes. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. And there really isn't a shock factor when it comes to people posting negative comments. There are assholes everywhere. Nothing shocking about that.
