A quick history lesson! Mother's day was originally intended for Mother's to come together to work towards peace, because Mother's are uniquely affected by their son's going off to war. It was conceived to be a day where women across the globe came together to ensure the safety of their children.

When the daughter of the woman who created Mother's Day saw what the day had become she was not happy, and grew to hate the day bitterly.

If there there was one person I have the most respect and love for it would be mother. She raised me and my 2 sisters on her own, she held 2 jobs to make sure we had a roof over our head and never went hungry. There was time that the only time she saw me was when she was coming home and I already asleep in bed. Even now, she's always looked after me.
