(This is my first real RP on this site, so here's hoping it works out)
Isla Sorna, an island miles away from the shores of Costa Rica, a place of trees, mountains, and animals, animals that have not existed for over 35 million years. Created by man inorder to serve as attractions, but soon it was shown why these animals were extinct and why they could never live together with humans, the island is now deserted, inhabited by the dinosaurs once created by those who wished to be God. 30 years have passed since the incidents of Jurrasic Park, and since then it has only been know as a myth, a story created made up by some bored paleontologist, and because of this the island of Isla Sorna has been forgotten, until now. Dr. Eli Crawford of the University of Virginia has uncovered information pertaining to the island, and the creatures that lie within, and has sought out students from around the world, to journey to the depth of Isla Sorna, and study the animals that lie there.

* As some may notice this is a Jurassic Park RP, I actually chose to mix this up with movie and book, so there are some thing I will point out
-I am aware that Jurassic Park was on Isla Nublar, but the dinosaurs there were killed off both the book (disease) and movie(hurricane)
- Instead of the end result of the Lost World book where all the dinosaur died, it will instead be closer to the ending of the movie, where the island was left alone to let the dinosaurs live in peace.
- The whole T-Rex in San Diego did not happen, in order to keep the island unknown that whole incident will be negated from the story, plus I never cared for that.
-InGen the company that made the Dinosaur has gone bankrupt and no longer exist.

I would like to see everyone a good feel of emotion in this RP (fear particularly), please be descriptive when describing a certain dinosaur, (link to an image of one is fine). No there are no guns, being that they are going to study the animals not hunt them, NPCs like guides and such maybe allowed to have some sort of weapon, also keep in mind that no one is aware that the dinosaurs were created for a park. If you have any questions please ask.

Name: David Reyner
Age:22
Appearance: David stands about 5,9 with a medium figure,with a slight tanned complextion, his eyes are a dark hazel and his black hair is somewhat grown out slightly.
Personality: Though David is quite smart he is somewhat reserved person, he doesn't talk much unless spoken to, at times he may have the occacional sacastic remark, or persimistic view, but deep down he's a good person.
Background: David has been attending the University of Virginia for 3 years, ever since he was little he has had a facination with dinosaurs which is why he chose study paleontology, this year he was chosen to be the assistant to Dr. Crawford, has no idea of the offer the doctor has for him, is one he would imagine.

A warm air filled the as David sat on the campus bench near the fountain, his glasses on as he looked over some of the notes he had from Dr. Crawford's lecture this morning, he let out a sigh as he looked over it, it seemed all to familiar dinosaurs of the cretaceous, relations to the dinosaurs of the late Jurassic, the theories of extinction, all of it he seen so many times. "Glad to see you hard at work" David turned around to see the who was talking to him, it was Dr. Crawford, he smiled at David as he saw him reading and sat next to him on the bench. "I'm surprised that you took notes,with all your dazing off " said Dr. Crawford " You know it's not very encouraging to the rest of the students if my own assistant is caught sleeping during my lectures". the back of David's neck felt hot as he had been caught somewhat sleeping in class "Dr I'm sorry, it's just" Dr. Crawford stopped him before he could explain himself "there's no need to explain, David. I get tired telling the same lecture as much as you do hearing them, it just that it's been so long since anything has really shaken this field we study, It's almost as if every dinosaur has been discovered, now we're in the middle of losing our funding". "I'm sorry to hear to that sir, I wish there was someway to get more money" stated David, his heat dropped a bit as he heard the news, it's was bit ironic in some way, no one studies paleontology to be wealthy, yet the field required a lot of money. David looked on at the doctor, for a 45 year old he looked rather young, though he could see the tired facial feature of age on him, the hint of grey that circled his brunette hair, as well at the slight bags that were under his hazel eyes.
"There maybe a way" said the doctor, "there is an island near Costa Rica called Isla Sorna, I can't go into specifics right now but, I was able to convince the school to give us a bit more money to journey there, to cut back a bit, I've sent word other colleges so other students may aid us in research,". "us?," said David "of course," said Dr Crawford "you're my assistant so naturally you'll be coming as well,". The doctor looked at his watch as begin to stand up " I'm sorry to leave like this but I have a meeting," "Sir you didn't even tell me everything " said David ," You'll just have to trust me David" explained Dr. Crawford "It's Friday, so that will give any other students from around time to come here on Monday, I'll explain everything then, until then have a good weekend". Doctor Crawford walked off, leaving David to wonder what was with island, by the sound of the doctor's voice there was more then just fossils there, but for now he'd could only guess what was there, as he stood up and walked home.
