To say who I am ...

I confess being such a lover of sass and high spirited
women that I will now endure none else-- just as De-
Quincey reports a friend who vowed not to read any-
thing English after Lord Chesterfield. I have determined
that for an indefinite time I will not throw black cheques
down on the Craps table unless I have a woman with me.

To this end then, I am on edge that many here will realize
I have urges to seize one or two of the most eligible and
bring them to Vegas, whereupon they and I will engage in
a riot of drinking and gambling so sustained that we will
sleep not a hour for several days, or even close our eyes
for a 20 minute nap.

This is the ultimate interchangings of dedications between
well-endowed men and delicious women marinated in their
own juices since they were 18.

To this semi-kidnapping fantasy, then, I maintain a pub-
lic presence here, a foothold, until I am by a raging mob
forced out as were the two hoaxters, Doctor Tarr and
Professor Fether.

10 ways to treat a person as a thing:

  1. Instrumentality. The objectifier treats the object as a tool of his or her purposes.
  2. Denial of autonomy. The objectifier treats the object as lacking in autonomy and self-determination.
  3. Inertness. The objectifier treats the object as lacking in agency, and perhaps also in activity.
  4. Fungibility. The objectifier treats the object as interchangeable (a) with other objects of the same type and/or (b) with objects of other types.
  5. Violability. The objectifier treats the object as lacking in boundary integrity, as something that it is permissible to break up, smash, break into.
  6. Ownership. The objectifier treats the object as something that is owned by another, can be bought or sold, etc.
  7. Denial of subjectivity. The objectifier treats the object as something whose experience and feelings (if any) need not be taken into account.
  8. Reduction to body: treatment of a person as identified with their body, or body parts.
  9. Reduction to appearance: treatment of a person primarily in terms of how they look.
  10. Silencing: the treatment of a person as if they lack the capacity to speak.

I intend not to so treat ...

My intentions were more to the fiction side of things.
Such adventure were impossible-- for I am an old man
80 years old, for the most part bed-ridden and drinking
sparkling fantasy water. Oh, how it would have been a
delight!

You might find that the Seldom Used Words thread Here is an interesting diversion.

I'm sure you can add to it. We've been working backwards through the alphabet from Z and are now at P.

Jebus, Ogg! I have a hard enough time figuring out what the hell it is YOU are saying. Don't encourage new reinforcements! ;)

I'm hurt. I try to be precise in my language and write in simple terms (except when I don't!). :D

Although I understand txt speak I deprecate its use for this demographic.
