To Pierce or Not to Pierce, That is the Question?

Since cym has posted about her recent experiences, it occured to me that there may be others who are thinking of taking the plunge.

So if you are thinking of getting a piercing, tell us about it.

Dom/mes, Subs, Switches, and others are encouraged to reply.

Yes Ebony. I am sub and I'm thinking about getting at least one of nipples pierced, most likely both, but not at the same time. I plan to call the only place I know of around me soon and get more information from them.

I made my vote as yes I am a sub and I want one or more. But more realistically I have one or more. And yes I want more. I have my tongue pierced and my labret I want another piercing in my labret and maybe one more in my tongue. I have always wondered about my labia or my nipples.

Thats the reason I have my peircings because I like them, not because I am a sub. The two just happen to be "in" the same person!

I have nine body piercings that are healing right now.
They're at an uncomfy stage, too. Well, except for that triangle piercing; it's been fine since i got it.

Anyway, Tex loves them and wants me to have more: tongue and inner labia, maybe another set in my outer labia, too.

They're really gorgeous, these piercings, and i *do* like them. I'm not so sure about more, though ultimately that decision won't be mine.

BTW, i didn't set off the metal detector at the airport yesterday. Disappointing. However, i did make the kid searching my carry-on bag blush when he had to take a look through my toys (inside another bag in my luggage) so all was not lost.

Needles are one of my least favorite things in the world. They rank on my squeamish list with scissors coming for my hair. The thought alone is painful.

I have the standard earhole peircings, and am not really interested in any more...but i have seriously considered a brand...

...not as a part of BDSM, but just because i enjoy the look of them...the only thing holding me back? the thought of "How much does that hurt???"

To answer the actual question though...i am a sub and do not want anymore peircings or any other "body art" as a part of any BDSM relationship...if/when/what i decide to get need to be my own personal decisions

This will be the reason I get mine too, if I ever get my nerve up...lol. I will only get pierced because I want it, not because Master wants it. Although I know his possition on the matter, and he's in favor. If he were not in favor I would think twice about it.

I do already have my ears double pierced, and that didn't kill me...lol

I have a horizontal hood. But I want to change that to a veritcal hood with a triangle. I'm not sure if it'll ever happen but it's what I've wanted for about a year now. I have to find someplace that will do it. I'd like to get them both done at once so I can heal all at one time.

Hmm... I'm not sure what to vote. I'm a big fan of getting pierced, but I hate keeping the jewelry in. So: I get temporary piercings that heal almost right away, with no scar tissue whatsoever. I plan on having lots of those!

I voted that yes, I want one or more, though I do have several already. I have 4 in each ear. I pierced my left nostril 7 yrs. ago and wear a tiny diamond stud in it, and my tongue is also pierced. Within the next few weeks I plan on getting both nipples done.
I'd also like to get my hood pierced, eventually, though I am slightly shy when it comes to my body, particularly in such a private area. (Even a visit to the Gynecologist turns me pink for days!)

I find belly rings/jewelry very sexy. Me? I don't want anything pierced. I wished I had gotten a tattoo in Singapore from Two Thumbs Tommy, but I'll pass on that now. When cym first posted her pics I was repulsed. But now the thought is interesting. But I'm still queasy about blood and doubt any needle play or piercing play will ever come to pass. But who knows what the future will bring.

Me too Belle, but I'm calling the piercing studio in my town this afternoon to get info from them too. I figure if I can stand getting my ears pierced twice, why not at least one nipple. If it hurts too much or I don't like it, I don't have to get the other one done....and I can always take the ring out and let it heal...right?

i still only have the single piercing from when i was a baby...see, i'm a bigger wimp than you...

But oh well...i've looked into the non-piercing jewelry...(shrugs)...and that will suit me just fine...~smile~
