Mmmmmmmk. Here's the deal:

I'm wondering what the ratio of pro vs. anti-phonesex people we have around here. My reason is this:

I, personally.....find it amusing. Not that it doesn't have it's merits and can be quite exciting, but *TYPICALLY I find it more humorous than anything.

I've had experiences that I'd love to relive, and then there are others that were quite dull and borderlined on comical. I'm sure it varies just as much as the other person on the end of the line.

Phone sex is great with the right person, but I love it when someone is willing to talk before and/or afterwards. And I think it is ok to laugh a little...not right during the act...I don't want to give the guy as complex, but everyone is a bit nervous when doing it. Laugher always breaks the ice...admitting that you each feel really nervous about talking to a stranger on the phone.
The best sessions are with one person I know very well. We talk a little beforehand...about anything & everything...then slowly work into it. We know each other so well that it flows. I have to agree that phone sex can be something that can be enjoyed when you are with the right person. I don't feel it in anyway is close to matching physical sex, but when two people are together yet miles apart it can be an erotic addition to their relationship. For those that are sexually turned on by auditory sounds it can be highly erotic. It's definately not something I would do with just anyone...I think it would be too hard not to laugh at someone that I didn't feel a closeness to. I'm just going to chalk it up as one more experience that I have enjoyed with someone I loved and cared for.
