To Lingerie or not Lingerie...That is the question.

On Valentine's weekend a guy I have been writing to for a year is coming up to visit. To meet me face to face for the first time.

I don't doubt that we'd probably sleep together. Should I buy a Valentine outfit to wear for this?

What color or style?

I kinda don't want to give the impression that I'm ahead of myself, but I want it to be special for a first time. If there is one.

Should I just go w/ a all occassion lingerie or go for the Valentine outfit?

All you need is a big red rose.

Either in your hair or the stem between your teeth.

Nothing else.

Now that's a Valentine outfit.

I would go with something new and delicate, but stay away from Valentine's lingerie. If it doesn't work out for you too, the fewer reminders of THAT valentine's day, the better.

Just cautious thinking on my part.

I totally agree. Besides, you can never have too much nice lingerie!

Items that are overtly tagged as "valentine" are usually aweinspiringly naff. Go for stuff that makes YOU feel sexy.........and comfortable............and isn't too tricky to get off.

It is Valentine's ....

you can get away with anything your heart desires. Go with what makes you feel sensual. I know when I met my cyber love in June I promised him I would have no under garments on and I didn't. I felt sexy as all heck. However our romance ended five weeks later, but that is a different story. Basically go with what makes you feel sexy. It does not mean you are or are not going to sleep with him. However, it will make you feel sensual.
Good Luck!
Peace,
Tulip

be yourself

Don't plan. Give time to time. What I mean is that you are going to meet him for the first time. You are going to be nervous, afraid of disappoint and of being disappointed. So keep it simple, wear what you are comfortable with. Lace is easy to take apart when nervous.
Relax and Enjoy.
Have fun.

'Nuff' said

From a man's point of view: Black teddy with a little red thrown in. Don't ask me why!

You had to ask . . .

Tulip,
Just between you and (looking to make sure that NO ONE else is listening) black and red are two colors that have been around since time began and I believe that they strike chords "deep in a man's soul," and that's MY quote and thought.

If that doesn't make me "rise" to the occasion . . .than little else will. Well, okay, okay, okay, maybe there COULD be . . . but I "ain't" telling what that is! *weg*
