L'Chaim, L'Chaim, to Life.... That's a song from Fiddler on the Roof which, to me,epitomizes the joy I feel about life. I read Sparky's post and instantly the song popped into my head. I wish I could play it now for all of you.
Some people start to live when they are born. Others start to die. I'm all for living and getting and giving as much love and joy out of life as I can.
I turn 57 on October 24th. Candidly, I never thought I would make it to 51 since that was the age that my father died. For me, every day is a gift, rain or shine, as long as I'm alive.
So, to all of you, L'Chaim. To Life!!! (As an aside, Dr. blue is taking me to see Fiddler on my birthday. I am truly blessed).
