- Kill Jomar for getting me involved in something so complex that seems to require me turning my poor little buggy, virus-infected laptop into a server of some kind and making the whole thing grind to a halt.

Seriously, did it? Sorry about that.

I thought joomla was just a free platform to build websites, like Netobjects Fusion, where you can use templates or customize it. I have two friends who've used joomla to build sites and can't imagine them opening up their computers for file sharing (given their uses).

S'ok, I'm figuring it out now. It's just complex, s'all and requires php and mysql and all sorts of trickery i've not used before. Don;t worry, I;m getting there. I'll link you when I;ve got a website made - thanks for the link
